As an exceptional scholar in the field of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), Professor Banker made unparalleled contributions to the field and the wider academic community. His outstanding research, expertise, and unwavering dedication to advancing the field of DEA will be remembered for generations to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Professor Banker\u2019s legacy will undoubtedly live on through his published works and the countless students and colleagues he mentored and inspired. This special issue seeks to publish papers that build directly or indirectly on Rajiv Banker\u2019s work on Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). We are especially looking for papers that develop new ideas in DEA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We welcome submissions on a wide range of topics related to DEA, including but not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Methodology and models<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applications in finance, healthcare, education, agriculture and other sectors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DEA approaches incorporating AI, machine learning, big data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We also encourage submissions that provide new insights into Professor Banker&#8217;s work, or that pay tribute to his contributions to the field. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Submission Guidelines:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Authors should submit a cover letter and a manuscript by the deadline, via the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.editorialmanager.com\/anor\/default2.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Journal\u2019s online submission site<\/a>. Manuscripts submitted after the deadline may not be considered for the special issue and may be transferred, if accepted, to a regular issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Instructions for Authors:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When submitting your full paper, please follow the author guidelines and formatting requirements provided on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.springer.com\/journal\/10479\/submission-guidelines\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Journal&#8217;s website<\/a>. When prompted for the article type, please select <strong>Original Research<\/strong>.
