Measurement of Environmental Efficiency

We invite high quality papers on Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) for consideration for publication in a special issue of the DEA Journal on measurement of environmental efficiency and productivity. The aim of this special issue is to publish state-of-the-art analytical and empirical research using DEA as a methodology for evaluating environmental performance in managing air, water, and land pollution. New and improved models of DEA for analyzing production processes with undesirable outputs as well as novel applications to the different sources of pollution, including (but not limited to) agriculture, residential, transportation, and industry in the context of emerging as well as developed economies are welcome.

Submitted papers will be peer-reviewed in the same manner as any other submission to a leading international journal. The major acceptance criterion for a submission is the quality and originality of the contribution.
